The South Carolina Apple Festival
The South Carolina Apple Festival was founded in 1961 to celebrate the beginning of the apple harvest season. The festival takes place on Historic Main Street in Westminster, South Carolina and traditionally held the weekend after labor day. Many businesses and organizations hold events in the days leading up to the festival.

The South Carolina Apple Festival is a two day event featuring live music entertainment and local craft and food vendors.

Each year there is a showcase of new talent on the Gazebo stage. Local schools, vocal artist, and bands perform original music as well as covers of popular songs.

Craft and food vendors line both sides of main street. You can enjoy everything from barbecue to homemade apple pies while you shop the wide selections of hand crafted items. Don't forget to stop by the local orchard's booths to stock up on apple, jams, jellies, and honey.

The Apple Festival is put on by a volunteer committee who love their town. Stop by their booth on the corner of Main Street and Retreat Street to say hello and purchase your commemorative t-shirt.
